Mental Health Navigation Tool - Overview Print
  • The Mental Health Navigation Tool is designed as an aid for Primary Care Providers to efficiently locate a suitable referral option for their patient/client.
  • It is designed with GPs as the key audience, but may also be of benefit to others.
  • The categories are for convenience to enable a service to be found efficiently.
  • The content is intended to be succinct and reflect the specific referral guidelines of each service and wherever possible, the cost to the patient/client. More information can be found by linking to the organisation’s own web site.
  • Some service providers are found in multiple locations. Private allied health professionals and psychiatrists are also included and can be found according to location.
  • It is not a definitive list of all activity within identified services, or an attempt to be a map of all services providers, but will complement existing resources, guides and directories.
  • Individuals and services are asked to contact us immediately if there are any inaccuracies or changes to this information.
