About the Practice:
The two doctor practice has been established since 1960, and fully Accredited since 2001 - located on the city fringe of the Geelong central business district. The building is registered by “Heritage Council” Victoria
The practice uses an appointment system allowing for “same day” appointments. There is a doctor always available 24 hours, 7 days a week - appointment hours 9.00 am - 4.30 pm weekdays. An “after-hours” emergency contact number is available. Visits to nursing homes, hostels, special accommodation facilities, hospitals and homes are routine and can be arranged by phoning the surgery so the patient may be listed on doctors daily rounds, usually bet The surgery is fully computerised running Medical Director script-writing software, and internet connection is available to doctors.
The surgery is centrally located to other allied health providers - with pathology, radiology, pharmacy, hospitals, dieticians, physiotherapy facilities within close proximity to the Practice. The practice also has the services of two independent Counselling Therapists working from rooms within the surgery. The front office staff provide an efficient, friendly and vital link between patients and doctors
After Hours:
A doctor is always available 24 Hours, 7 days a week for emergencies. Phone surgery 5222 1988 for a recorded contact number. Emergencies will be managed on a case to case basis. Adequate information is essential in these circumstances to assess the handling of these problems.
