About the Practice: It is our greatest pleasure to welcome you to the caring South Barwon Medical Centre. This Medical Centre is dedicated to the highest standard of professional care for our patients, with an emphasis on long-term follow-up with the same family Physician. We pride ourselves on our team effort, commitment to efficient service, support, communication and confidentiality.
The practice is located in a purpose built building on the corner of Settlement Road and Surfcoast Highway in Belmont, a western suburb of Geelong, about 15 minutes from the Geelong Central Business District.
The practice services patients from Belmont, Highton, Grovedale, Whittington, Waurn Ponds and the rural community on the outskirts of Geelong. This encompasses an area of very high growth rate of > 4 percent per annum. The practice profile is of patients of all ages and socio-economic classification, from the new born to the aged.
After Hours: Emergency after-hours service can be accessed by ringing our usual phone number 5243 1111 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We participate in an after-hours weekend roster with our local surgeries.
