About the Practice:
The Lara Medical Centre is a group of doctors committed to personal, holistic health care. We place importance on preventive medicine and aim to treat the individual with reference to family, occupation and lifestyle. All doctors at this practice are on the Vocational Register of General Practitioners. This means we have a commitment to general practice and to continuing medical education.
After Hours:
There is always a doctor on call 24 hours per day, for Lara Medical Centre patients with emergencies that cannot wait until the next working day. Please ring the surgery and a recorded message will advise you further. A fee applies to after-hours consultations, please inquire.
Weekend surgeries are rostered to be held at the Lara Medical Centre or the You Yangs Medical Clinic (also in Lara). Details on which clinic is open is available by telephoning the surgery or on the notice board at the front entrance. These surgeries are intended for urgent medical problems.
