About the Practice:
The Practice is located diagonally opposite the Emergency Department. Our practice has a flexible system that enables us to accommodate patients with urgent, non urgent, complex, planned chronic care and preventative health needs.
The practice is a GPA accreditation site. We are completely computerised and paperless and offer secure firewalled broadband on all computers.
Our broad range of highly trained Doctors and Staff enable us to provide an abundance of additional services to the community. We have three Division One Nurses currently undertaking education in pap smear registration, immunisation provider requirements, mental health training, care plans, health assessment audits and recall and reminder systems. Our Division Two Nurses and Administrative Staff have achieved or are completing a Certificate III in Health Support Services, a Diploma of Occupational Health and Safety and Wound Care.
After Hours:
Our practice provides 24-hour care for patients. If medical attention is required outside of our surgery hours, patients can obtain a home visits by phoning our surgery. When our practice is closed, our telephone has an answering machine advising patients of this service and the nearest 24 hour emergency contact.
